The pickleball “Highlighter” filter was a design study that our Zeiss and Pilla team engineered to elevate the athletes eye registration of the ball color with speed and accuracy making tracking and trajectory precise. The visual experience is reflective of a neon highlighter pen providing the athlete with quick acquisition and ball location. This filter delivers a crisp visual image of the ball allowing the hands to react faster with more precise visual triggers which is a significant advantage at the kitchen and at the base line. The filter is a crystal-clear sight picture with zero distortion and a high contrast formulation. This gives the athlete proper detail with no ball drag. The lens is dressed with Zeiss Pilla coating technology, a high performance anti-reflective, and our ICE coating science which makes the lens easy to clean and helps reduce fogging with a Zeiss hydrophilic coating developed specifically for Pilla lenses.
